Wish List
 Each year at our Challenge Program residential weeks we are in need of many supplies to carry out our activities and enrich our children's experience. If you are able to donate any of these items please contact the office nearest you to make arrangements. Thank you for helping us further our mission of providing help and hope to children.
This year, for the first time, we have posted some items from our wish list on an Amazon.com Wish List where our donors can select items and have them shipped directly to The Second Mile's State Office. Art Supplies
- Glue 36 bottles of all-purpose school glue
- Tie Dye 48 bottles of RIT, in assortment of primary colors
- Paint Brushes assorted sizes - 100
- Kid-Sized Scissors 25 pairs
- Markers - 50 sets, assorted colors
- Construction Paper Assorted colors 50 Packs
- Plastic Lanyard (Boondoggle) 120 rolls in various colors
- Permanent Markers 20 in any color but yellow
- Colored Pencils - 25 sets (e.g. Prang, set of 12)
- Popsicle Sticks - 500 or more
- Ribbon and Yarn - assorted colors and widths
- Glitter Glue - 16 oz. bottles in all colors
- Googly Eyes - various sizes
- Glue Dots - 25 packs
*We are also looking for an assortment of materials that can be used as arts & crafts (buttons, noodles, etc) and we love leftovers and scraps from previous projects!*

- Zip-Lock Bags - 10 boxes of quart bags, 10 boxes of sandwich bags
Other Needs
- Socks and Underwear girls, boys, mens, & ladies in sizes appropriate for 8-15 years olds
- Summer Clothes girls, boys, mens, & ladies in sizes appropriate for 8-15 years olds shorts and t-shirts
- Sleeping Bags and Sheets lightweight sleeping bags or a fitted and flat sheet 25
- Plastic or Paper Cups 10 or 12 ounce size is ideal 2,000 or more
- Towels beach towels and bath towels
- Pencils with Erasers - 400 total, sharpened if possible
- Pens 300, blue or black
- Flashlights and Batteries - 10 flashlights that are durable and waterproof, if possible
- Paper Plates 1,000 or more (packs of 100 or 200 are convenient)
- White T-shirts for tie-dye 25 S, 35 M, 35 L, 35 XL, 15 XXL
- Swimsuits girls, boys, mens & ladies in all sizes one piece suits for ladies 10 for each gender
- Playing Cards 75 decks
- Rubbermaid or Other Bins 20 total, 6-gallon through 54-gallon sizes, any colors, for equipment
- Sterno Aluminum Pans 15 total, 12 x 18 x 4 deep
- Books age appropriate for 8-15 year olds, especially books with multiple short stories (ie. Mrs. Piggle Wiggle) as many as possible
- Lumber various 2 x 4s, 3/8 plywood, and other pieces to create Carnival games and Initiatives
- Dodgeball Balls 3 sets of 12 Gatorskin Brand balls, in any of 3 different sizes
