Southcentral Region
 The Southcentral region has a rich history of hosting events and celebrations that both spread the word of The Second Mile and raise funds to benefit the youth of Southcentral Pennsylvania. In March, the Celebration of Excellence in Hershey boasts a tradition of paying tribute to excellence and of long-time corporate sponsorship by KPMG. The Berks County Chapter’s Kick-Off for Kids Banquet and Silent Auction takes place in May and also has a history of featuring prominent football players both current and past. In September, the Divas of Jazz benefit, featuring performances by talented female vocalists, is held in Lancaster.
For those of you who prefer golf to football spikes, The York County Chapter holds its annual Sandy Kranich Golf Benefit at the Heritage Hills Golf Resort in May. In August, the annual Celebrity Golf Classic in Hershey continues to attract particpants and sponsors from all over the Southcentral Region who want to help The Second Mile provide help and hope for our youth.
