The 2010 Divas of Jazz concert includes divas Robin Work, Erin Cruise, Diane Wilson, "Co Co" Coleman, Ruth Benns-Suter, Sonia Vrooman,Michelle Leigh, and Rose Hudson with special guest Sheila Jordan and music by The Andy Roberts Quartet. Co-hosting the event will be Susan Shapiro from WGAL-TV8 News, Paul Scott from Smooth Jazz 92.7, and Divas of Jazz Co-Founder, Diane Dayton, from Dayton Communications.
A grassroots effort that began in 2003, the Divas of Jazz concert has become a popular annual event, featuring live performances from eight talented female vocalists, with contemporary styles ranging from Blues to Pop. The Lancaster County Chapter of The Second Mile is privileged to partner with “Divas” to present this special concert event, the proceeds of which benefit The Second Mile’s programs for area children.
