Lee is a play-maker who brings tremendous passion and tenacity to every snap. Less than 24 hours after his season ending injury, Lee was on the sidelines at practice, dealing with the setback in the first class manner he had established during his initial three years as a Nittany Lion. His teammates honored the leadership and direction he had provided by selecting him as honorary captain following spring practice. Lee is a strong student, earning ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District honors last year and Academic All-Big Ten honors twice. When he returns for the 2009 season-opener, Lee will take the field with 239 career stops, needing 17 to crack the school's Top 10.
NITTANY LION TIPS
"Everyone's family is unique. Some kids have two parents and some only have one. Some children have step-parents or live with foster parents, but no matter who raises you, they can love you and be your family.
A good friend of mine grew up with his grandparents. Sometimes other kids didn't understand why he didn't live with his mom and dad, but his grandparents loved him a lot and took great care of him.
Not every family is going to look like yours. All that really matters is that you have people in your life that love and care for you - people to call family, no matter who they are." - Sean Lee
