Community-Based
 These programs are designed to address the needs of those children who live in the most difficult circumstances and have experienced the greatest trauma. Children served by The Second Mile's community-based programs include those who are impoverished, abused, neglected, or attend schools in which only 2% of the students go on to college. These programs involve community organizations, parents, and foster families in child centered success stories.
