Second Mile Stars: Walmart
The Second Mile would like to recognize The Walmart Foundation for its continuous generosity and support towards a number of Second Mile programs and events.
This past year, The Walmart Foundation gave a large donation to support our Challenge Program. With their support, children were able to learn new skills, make new friends, and develop lasting memories at the Challenge Program weeks-in-residence this summer. We also would like to thank Walmart for providing each child at the Challenge Program with a gift bag filled with personal and fun items for them to enjoy.
Walmart stores have also acted as sponsors for Second Mile events, including the Pitt vs. PSU Golf Challenge, the State College Golf Classic, and the Clearfield Sports Banquet. Not only have they provided funds to guide and support our programs, but Walmart associates have also volunteered their time to help at special events as well as in Second Mile offices.
Thank you Walmart for providing help and hope to Second Mile children and families.
